About this pack

A holographic pixel art HUD and menu kit for sci-fi games on a strict 32x32 grid: 136 sprites in each of 4 themes (cyan, green, amber, red) plus 125 shared icons, cursors, blips, bar fills and HUD digits, 669 sprites in all. Shield and energy bars, a radar with an animated sweep, reticles with a lock-on, ammo counters, hotbars with cooldowns, a comms window with a portrait, alerts, loadout and inventory screens, mission lists.

Licence in one line: use it in your commercial games; do not resell the files.

4 themes, one layout

Cyan with cut corners and brackets, green with rounded corners and riveted tabs, amber with chevron corners and stripes, red with hazard plates and bolts. Every theme has the same sprites, the same file names and the same sheet layout, so you reskin a whole UI by swapping one folder. They are not recolours: each theme has its own corner shape, ornament and glow.

What you get in every theme (136 sprites)

  • Panels (12): 9-slice panels (basic, dark, title, comms, hollow frame, inset screen, warning band), a tooltip, square and hex portrait frames, a round radar frame with range rings, a minimap frame.
  • Buttons (19): wide and square buttons in normal, hover, pressed and disabled states, a close button, arrow buttons, tabs, confirm and abort buttons.
  • Bars (5): standard, thin, shield (hex caps), threat (warning ends) and charge frames.
  • Reticles (12): dot, cross, circle, brackets, chevron, a 64x64 sniper scope, a 2-frame hit marker and a 4-frame lock-on.
  • Radar sweep (8 frames): an animated sweep that goes over the radar frame, under the blips.
  • Slots (30): inventory slots in every state and 5 tier colours, 12 gear slots with ghost silhouettes (pistol, rifle, shotgun, grenade, armor, helmet, shield, medkit, battery, chip, drone, keycard) and an 8-frame cooldown sweep.
  • Indicators (24): a 2-frame blinking alert pop-up, an 8-frame spinner, a 4-frame scan line, signal and battery at 5 levels.
  • Inputs (12): checkbox, toggle, slider, vertical scrollbar, text input, dropdown.
  • Ornaments (10): dividers, corner brackets, a hex plate, chevron, hazard and readout strips.
  • Comms (4): name tag, choice highlight, animated next arrow.

Shared by all themes (125 sprites)

  • 40 HUD icons in colour (health, shield, energy, ammo, weapons, radar, target, warning, systems, menu, arrows) and the same 40 in pure white, ready to tint.
  • 9 cursors with hotspots: arrow, pointer, target, scan, forbidden, loading, move, grab, text.
  • Radar blips and markers (8): player, ally, enemy and objective blips, objective and danger markers in two frames.
  • 15 bar fills: health, shield, energy, ammo and heat, in standard, thin and segmented versions. They fit every theme's frames.
  • 13 HUD digits: 7-segment numerals 0-9, colon, percent and minus in white, for ammo counters, timers and scores.

Made to drop in

  • Strict 32x32 grid: every sprite is 32, 64 or 96 px wide and high. Nothing is cut at an odd size.
  • 9-slice ready: the ornament lives in the corner cells, so every panel, bar and button stretches to any size with crisp corners. The margins and content areas of every sprite are in the JSON.
  • Every sprite as its own PNG and on a sprite sheet with a JSON map, at 1x, 2x and 3x.
  • Colour palettes for every theme (.hex and .gpl) and a README with the radar, reticle, bar, cooldown and alert recipes.

Every screenshot is built only from sprites in this pack (the text is our preview font, not included).

Try before you buy

The free sample has 112 sprites: the cyan theme's core (panels, buttons, slots, bars, reticles, the lock-on, the whole radar sweep, an alert, a spinner, inputs), 12 icons in colour and white, 3 cursors, blips, bar fills and the digits 0-9.

Licence

Use and modify in personal and commercial projects. Shipping the sprites inside your game is fine. No resale or redistribution of the assets, modified or not. Credit is appreciated, not required. Not for AI training or NFTs.

How it was made

Every sprite is drawn by code: frames are peeled ring by ring from exact masks, the icons are typed as material maps and shaded by code, the sweeps and dithers are computed. The code was written with AI-assisted tools. No image generator was used, and no third-party art or fonts are included.
