Modern Office & Home

A modern top-down 16x16 pixel art interiors tileset: 342 pieces with real wall autotiles, floors, rugs, wall decor and furniture. Offices, apartments, kitchens, bathrooms and cafes for life sims, management games, modern RPGs and mysteries.

Licence in one line: use it in your commercial games; do not resell the files. No credit required.

What you get

• 47-tile wall autotiles (188 tiles) in 4 styles: painted plaster, exposed brick, white bathroom tiles and concrete panels. A 14 px face on the edges that look down the screen, dark tops, rounded corners.
• 24 floors: office carpet tiles, light oak, dark walnut, small white tiles, polished concrete and terrazzo, 4 variants each.
• Rugs in beige and teal, 9 pieces each, for a rug of any size.
• 28 wall decor pieces: wood and glass doors, a glass sliding door that opens in 4 frames, windows (day, night, blinds), a whiteboard, a cork board, posters, a wall clock, an AC unit, kitchen wall cabinets, a range hood, a bathroom mirror, a menu board, an exit sign and more.
• 84 furniture pieces: desks with flat monitors, a laptop or an old CRT, office chairs and dining chairs facing 4 ways, a filing cabinet, printer, copier, water cooler, server rack, meeting table, cubicle dividers, reception desk and vending machine; sofas and armchairs from the front and the back, a TV stand, beds, a wardrobe; kitchen counters with sink, hob, oven, microwave and coffee maker, a fridge; a toilet, shower, bathtub and washing machine; a cafe counter, drinks fridge and cafe tables.
• 32 animation frames included in the count: scrolling code on the monitors, a blinking CRT cursor, the TV, the wall clock, server lights, the water cooler, the vending machine, the shower, the washing machine and the sliding door.

Made to drop in

• Strict 16x16 grid. 52 larger pieces are exact multiples (16x32, 32x16, 32x32) and stand on their bottom row.
• Every file is named after the object (office_chair_left.png, counter_sink.png), and the neighbour bitmask is in every wall file name and in tiles.json, so you can wire the walls to any engine.
• No baked shadows, so nothing to strip before you add your own.
• Single PNGs and sheets, at 1x, 2x and 3x, and a README with the bitmask diagram, the rug layout and how the counters and dividers join.
• Same grid and view as Gridwright Interiors and the Gridwright Top-Down Tileset.

The demo office and the demo apartment and cafe in the screenshots were assembled by a small autotiler from these same tiles.

Try before you buy

The free sample has 68 pieces: the full painted wall set, the oak floors, the beige rug, a door, a window, a desk, an office chair facing 4 ways and a plant.

What it does not include

No characters, no RPG Maker sheets and no engine project files. The art is drawn at 16x16; the 2x and 3x files are scaled copies.

Licence

Use and modify in personal and commercial projects. Shipping the tiles inside your game is fine. No resale or redistribution of the assets, modified or not. Credit is appreciated, not required. Not for AI training or NFTs.

How it was made

Every piece is drawn by code: the wall shapes are exact geometry, so the pieces always meet. The code was written with AI-assisted tools. No image generator was used, and no third-party art is included.
