What's in the pack
A top-down 16x16 pixel art farming kit: 521 sprites. Tilled soil that autotiles (dry and watered), 20 crops with 6 growth stages each, farm animals that walk, idle and eat facing left and right, a picket fence, a barn, a chicken coop, props, tools and goods. For farming games, life sims and cozy RPGs.
Licence in one line: use it in your commercial games; do not resell the files.
What you get
- Tilled soil, dry and watered (94 tiles): two 47-tile autotile sets that join each other, so you can water a field tile by tile. Plus a 47-tile dirt path and 4 grass tiles.
- 20 crops x 6 stages (120 frames): seeds, sprout, young, growing, ripe and withered. Carrot, radish, beet, turnip, onion, potato, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, tomato, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, strawberry, blueberry, corn, wheat, sunflower, pumpkin and watermelon. Every frame is 16x32 with the plant standing on the bottom cell.
- A produce icon and a seed packet for every crop (40 icons, 16x16).
- 9 animals, 144 frames: white chicken, brown chicken, chick, duck (16x16), spotted cow, brown cow, sheep, sheared sheep and pig (32x32). Idle, walk and eat, drawn facing right and left: both directions ship as their own files.
- 23 props and 3 buildings: barn (64x64), chicken coop (48x48), well, picket fence with 16 joins and a gate, scarecrow, hay bales, troughs, shipping bin, beehive, compost bin, crates of produce, a sprinkler (3 frames) and more.
- 11 tools (hoe, watering can, axe, pickaxe, scythe, shovel, sickle, rake, pitchfork, shears, milk pail), 6 goods (eggs, milk, wool, honey) and 11 pieces of debris to clear (weeds, stones, branches, stump, log, boulder).
Made to drop in
- Strict 16x16 grid. Bigger pieces are exact multiples (16x32, 32x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64), and the README lists every size.
- The neighbour bitmask is in every soil and path file name and in farm.json, so you can wire the sets to any engine.
- Single PNGs and sheets, at 1x, 2x and 3x, a JSON map with every sprite, the palette, and a README with the bitmask diagram.
- One light direction, one outline rule: every piece looks like it belongs with the others.
- Same grid and style as the Gridwright Top-Down Tileset, Interiors and Top-Down Characters.
The demo farm in the screenshots was assembled by a small autotiler from these same tiles. The farmer and the villager in it come from Gridwright Top-Down Characters (sold separately).

How it was made
Every sprite is drawn by code: shapes from geometry, one light direction and one outline rule. The autotile shapes are exact geometry, so the pieces always meet. The code was written with AI-assisted tools. No image generator was used, and no third-party art is included.
