What's in the pack

47 interface sounds in 5 styles = 235 sounds: clicks, hovers, confirm and cancel, menus, toggles, sliders, typing blips, notifications, coins, purchases, level ups, achievements, unlocks, countdowns and inventory sounds. Every sound exists in Soft, Clean, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Retro with the same file name, so a game can change its whole sound style by changing one folder.

Licence in one line: use them in any personal or commercial game; do not resell the sounds.

Five styles

  • Soft: cozy: marimba and wood clicks, round bubble glides, a small warm room.
  • Clean: modern apps: pure sine tones with a glassy edge, crisp short clicks, almost dry.
  • Sci-Fi: FM bleeps with a glide, digital zaps, ring-modulated air, a ping-pong echo.
  • Fantasy: bells and harp plucks, sparkles, a long magic hall.
  • Retro: 8-bit pulse waves with stepped pitch and volume, 1-bit noise.

  • Loudness-matched: every sound within 1.5 dB of the same loudness (97% within 1 dB) with peaks at most -1 dBFS; hover, ticks and typing a few dB lower on purpose, listed in the cue sheet.
  • soundboard.html: hear every sound in your browser, offline, and switch styles with one click.
  • Cue sheet (CSV + JSON): style, category, name, description, length, peak and loudness of every file.
  • A preview reel on this page plays all 235 sounds (3.6 minutes) with a timestamp list.

Checked by the build

No clipping, no silence at the start or end, no DC offset, no two files alike (a spectrum fingerprint over all of them), every OGG decoded and compared with its WAV, and the sound board tested in a browser.

What it does not include

No music, no voices, no footsteps or combat sounds (those are in our Retro Sound Effects), no loops.

Licence

Use and edit them in personal and commercial games and apps, and ship them inside your game. Do not resell or redistribute the sounds themselves, and do not register them with content-ID services. Credit is appreciated, not required. Not for AI training or NFTs.

How it was made

Every sound is synthesised by our own code (Python and numpy: sine, FM and pulse oscillators, noise, envelopes, filters, a reverb made from noise). No samples, no recordings, no AI audio model. The synthesis code was written with AI-assisted tools.
