Sound Effect Generator

Game sound effects, from retro to sci-fi

The Sound Effect Generator makes the small sounds a game needs: coins, jumps, lasers, hits, explosions, menu clicks. Pick a type, press until you like what you hear, then change anything: the wave, the envelope, pitch slides, vibrato, arpeggios, filters and bitcrush.

A seed gives the same sound back, byte for byte, so a sound can be shared as one line of text. Lock the settings you like and mutate the rest, with undo and a history of your last 40 sounds.

The full edition stacks up to 4 layers, adds the styles of our sound packs (retro, soft UI, sci-fi, horror, weapons), saves 10 variations of a sound as one ZIP and matches loudness across a set, so a whole game's sounds sit at the same level.
