What's in the pack

A tropical island top-down 16x16 pixel art tileset: 936 pieces, with real autotiles for a sand shore whose foam rolls in and out, shallow and deep water, grass, jungle and paths, rock cliffs, a pier and a bamboo fence, plus 120 props: palms, a lighthouse, a waterfall, a pirate camp, a shipwreck, boats and crabs. For adventure RPGs, pirate and survival games, island farming sims and beach levels.

Licence in one line: use it in your commercial games; do not resell the files. No credit required.

What you get

  • An animated shore (240 tiles): sand over water with a wet-sand rim and a band of foam, 46 blob pieces and 14 corner pieces, each in 4 frames that stay in step.
  • Shallows over deep water (240 tiles), also in 4 frames, so you get turquoise reefs and a dark open sea.
  • Grass on sand, jungle floor on grass and a dirt path (180 tiles) as 46-piece blob sets and 14-piece corner sets.
  • Two cliff sets (92 tiles): a grass plateau on brown rock and a sand plateau on grey rock.
  • A pier (16 pieces) and a bamboo fence (16 pieces) that join in every direction; the pier shows its posts in the water.
  • 32 ground tiles: sand, wet sand, grass, jungle floor, dirt and deck planks (4 variants each), and deep and shallow water (4 frames each).
  • Plants (19): a swaying palm (4 frames), palms with coconuts, leaning left and right, small palms and a sapling, two jungle trees, a banana plant, monstera, fern, bamboo, hibiscus, dune grass and a bush.
  • Huts, towers and water (19): a hut on stilts, a beach hut, a watchtower, tiki torches, a lighthouse whose lamp flashes and a waterfall with its splash.
  • A pirate camp (28): tents, a campfire, a treasure chest that opens, gold, a waving pirate flag, barrels, crates, cannons, cannonballs, rope, an anchor, X marks the spot, a shovel, a lantern, a hammock and a sign.
  • A shipwreck (7) and boats (10): a hull, the bow, the ribs, a broken mast, debris; rowboats and a sloop facing up and right with its wake.
  • Rocks, reef and beach finds (22): rocks in the surf, a tide pool, corals, shells, a starfish, coconuts, driftwood, a message in a bottle and a sand castle.
  • Animals (15): crabs that scuttle, seagulls flying and standing, a turtle and a jumping fish.

Made to drop in

  • Strict 16x16 grid. 56 larger props are exact multiples and stand on their bottom row.
  • The neighbour bitmask is in every autotile file name and in tiles.json, so you can wire the sets to Godot, Unity, GameMaker or your own code; the README has the diagram.
  • Every animated set stays in step: every moving pattern repeats every 16 px, so water, shallows and shore frames join tile to tile.
  • Single PNGs and sheets, at 1x, 2x and 3x. No baked shadows.
  • Same grid and view as the Gridwright Top-Down Tileset, Farm and Medieval Village.

The demo island in the screenshots was assembled by a small autotiler from these same tiles.

What it does not include

No characters, no Tiled or engine project files. The art is drawn at 16x16; the 2x and 3x files are scaled copies.
