Dungeon & Map Generator
Dungeon, cave and overworld maps
The Dungeon & Map Generator makes a level in one key press. Set a seed, a size and a few tags (compact, winding, water, loops, treasure, traps), and it lays out rooms, corridors, doors, a start, an exit and a boss room, drawn as pixel-art tiles.
Most map generators stop at a picture. This one gives a game a map it can load: a Tiled map with collision, terrain sets and objects for spawns and rooms, or a Godot 4 scene with a TileSet, physics layers and spawn markers, plus a JSON room graph with the walkable grid and the critical path.
Dungeon mode uses binary space partitioning, caves grow by cellular automata and overworlds come from noise. The same seed always gives the same map, and the full edition draws with your own tileset.
