Isometric Harbor cover

What's in the pack

A harbour in isometric pixel art: 170 pieces (plus 29 shadow sprites) on the same 32x16 grid as Gridwright Isometric Tiles, Interiors and Castle & Siege. Water with surf foam, a stone quay, docks on posts, a warehouse, a tavern, a fish market, a crane, cannons, a lighthouse, ships that bob, buoys and seagulls. For pirate and naval games, trading and city builders, RPG port towns and tactics maps.

Licence in one line: use it in your commercial games; do not resell the files. No credit required.

What you get

  • 15 ground tiles: harbour water, deep water, cobblestones, sand and wharf boards, 3 variants each that tile exactly.
  • Surf foam for each edge of a water tile, animated in 4 frames, to lay where the sea meets the land or the quay.
  • 32 wall pieces in quay stone and tarred timber, full and low, with corners, posts, doorways and lit windows, plus a harbour door that opens in 4 frames.
  • Buildings and harbour props facing all 4 ways (never mirrored): a 2x2 warehouse, a tavern front, a fish market stall, a crane with a hanging crate, a cannon and a dock end; dock decks on posts in both plank directions.
  • Ships that bob: a rowboat whose oars sweep, a sloop and a two-masted merchant ship with a stern castle and gun ports, each facing 4 ways in 4 frames.
  • A lighthouse whose beam turns, buoys that bob and blink, seagulls that flap, a lamp post, barrels, cargo crates, an anchor, a rope coil, a net pile and bollards.
  • Wall decor for both wall sides: a life ring, a ship's wheel and a hanging net.
  • 29 shadow sprites with the same anchor as their pieces.

Made to drop in

  • isometric.json lists every sprite with its anchor, footprint, facing, height, frames and shadow, plus the placement formula and the draw order.
  • Single PNGs at 1x, 2x and 3x, and sheets, named after the object (sloop_se_f3.png, foam_nw_f2.png).
  • Joins Isometric Tiles, Castle & Siege and our isometric characters, and opens in the Isometric Builder.

The harbour in the screenshots was put together from the pack's own sprites with the placement rules in isometric.json.

What it does not include

No characters, no sea battle effects and no engine project files.

Licence

Use and modify in personal and commercial projects. Shipping the sprites inside your game is fine. No resale or redistribution of the assets, modified or not. Credit is appreciated, not required. Not for AI training or NFTs.

How it was made

Every piece is modelled in code as simple 3D shapes and rendered to pixel art by our own ray caster, once for each facing. The code was written with AI-assisted tools. No image generator was used, and no third-party art is included.
